Sean,

Nice work! Glad you are happy.

If you get an "X" pipe/True Duals, (try Lanes)
you will pick up that torque that you need, and maybe a few hp. I think you will like the extra torque that the "X" pipe will give you, and the 330' time will pick up with the extra torque in the M6.

Thanks,
And good luck.

Would a 'H'pipe(balance tube)work the same
as an 'X'pipe?
My torque isn't suffering that much,
and the car being lightweight will help,I'm sure.

I'll know more when I run the car at the track.

I hope to see some of you guys @RT66 tuesday,
I hope the weathers nice.

Yes, a balance tube would be better than no tube at all.
A 3" X pipe with dumps would be a light, and efficient solution.
Or we could build you one out of Titanium! <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" />

Go fast Tuesday.

nice numbers, get that tq up and your lower times should be great! good to see something not in tx making power! <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" />

also was this tuned at speed or LGM do the pcm editing? just wondering b/c 31 degrees of timing is a lot.

This cam pulls REALLY HARD.
Speed inc.(Jim Moran) tuned the car.
Lou gave me some pointers for tuning.
I made about 5rwhp,and 4rwtq advancing
the timing. It's nice to know I won't lose
too much when I retard it for spray. <img border="0" alt="[evil]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_devil.gif" />

BTW-the correction factor was 1.01.

Don't forget the G5X-1 is a tad smaller
and made about the same power in Alex's car.
(if the big specs scare anyone) <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" />

Sean, Let me know when You hit morocco <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="gr_images/icons/wink.gif" />

So far, the power has been right on par with the 3 other bolt on cars- RAGEman gained 68 with tuning, Jamie Gained 68 with tuning, and you gained 63 with tuning. <img border="0" alt="[cheers]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_cheers.gif" />

Do you have: Ported TB, ASP, and what rear/gears?

Louis

Update!

I think my cam was idleing @ 800-850ish
(and was shaking the motor ALOT)
I turned up the idle(Still below 1k,
and smoothed it out )

This cam ROCKS!
The Drag wheels and tires are on...
I'm ready to DANCE! <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" />
