Default G5X-2 Dyno Results

445rwhp with stock heads. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" /> J/K

Seriously-
I installed new headers(1 3/4 Dynatechs with
High velocity merge collectors) with short
extentions into 2 Borla XR-1 mufflers.
Basically headers into mufflers and dumped.

Best stock run after tweaking the translator
was 346.5rwhp/356.8rwtq.

Then installed big ole fat hairy Cam. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" />
First run on stock programming was 399.(stock rev limit)
A/F was 12.8ish.
After bring the timing up and leaning it out slightly,
the final # was 408.7rwhp,384.9rwtq.
This seems a little low,but I'm not disappointed.
I figured it would make about 415-425(judging by
Rageman's and JS12's dynos)
I thought the exhaust would help a little more,
but it may have actually hurt me.
A/F was 13.3:1,timing is 31(actual).
Peak hp is @6300ish(pretty flat)It is over 400
from 5900to 6600.
Peak torque happens @4800ish.Torque is over 300
@2700. <img border="0" alt="[evil]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_devil.gif" />
The is an absolute MONSTER on the street.
Forth gear pulls like third.

Special thanks to LG Motorsports.Lou and Louis
are great!
Also-Special thanks to Speed inc.
Tom,Larry,Dan,and Jim.
These guys ALWAYS take care of me,I really appreciate it.I may have to to let them win a few
races. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" />

Track times should be Tuesday if the weather is nice!I can't wait.... <img border="0" alt="[driving]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_driving3.gif" /> <img border="0" alt="[cheers]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_cheers.gif" />

Damn. Thats off the fuggin hook. What other bolt ons do you have? What springs are you running? How is the idle? Did you go at the 112 lsa or did you get one at 114? Ive just heard alot of talk about grinding that cam at 114 "just to see". Sorry bout all the questions...you can tell whos considering a cam here really soon. Congrats thats super nasty.....hell a few months ago 400+ on stock heads was some rare strain of black magic. Not anymore. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Cool]" src="gr_images/icons/cool.gif" />

sweet dude. im looking into getting that cam, but i want to get some real good heads to go with that cam that have no p-v issues... anyone have any info on g5x-2 p-t issues with gtp heads (if thereare any) which heads would you think compliment this cam more?

but back to your numbers... it's dope as hell that the cam gave you 62.2 hp... just wait till you get heads bro, lol, you'll be rippin' on ppl like there's no tomorrow, hehe, expect another 20-40 hp from heads (from what i've seen on ppls dyno pulls... it just all depends on what kind of setup you have) have fun dude!

It lopes like hell. <img border="0" alt="[evil]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_devil.gif" />
I think it sounds awesome through the borlas.
112lsa.
Rev 1116 duals.
ALL the bolt ons.

62.2rwhp gain
28.1rwtq gain(I was honestly hoping for more)

I wanted a Cam to give me 400@the wheels,
I got that plus more. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" />

I think any kind of bigger valve might even be a problem.

Excellent! But, why do you think the exhaust may have hurt? I'll probably be at 66 to watch ya click off some 10 second passes. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Cool]" src="gr_images/icons/cool.gif" />

3170 WTF. Are you serious?
I weighed in at 3360 at 66 Saturday. Only thing missing is my lightweight carpet that I have to put in. Still have the air bags and air conditioning and bumper supports.
I told you it's a street car! So don't be surprised if you put the Whoopin on me.
Are you going to the North vs. South?

I'll be there @ 3:30-4:00 to start blasting
off runs before it gets busy.
If it doesn't get busy I'll run later also.
I'll be there to about 9:00 running or
spectating.
