i got that cam cause i wanted that cam, i know people there and i had the biggest one out of all the ones they had set aside for me. i was also the first car to get this cam except for there test car. i was basically another test car but im still testing it.
cams are never perfect. your rarely going to get a 242.0/248.0 on a 110.0
its always 242.2/248.1 or whatever you get the idea. i just wanted a big one.
you seem a lil parnoid on buying a cam, so ill say this, the trex is currently the best max hp/et cam available if thats what you want i just save you the strees of thinking about it.

So did you degree your cam? From what I've read, the clearance is VERY tight and your cam is just a tad bigger. I know this cam is suppose to fit without any flycutting, but if its ground wrong, enough for to cause clearance problems and you didnt degree it, you could of ran into major problem right? Do you know if Thunder Racing cam doctors their cams? I already ordered an adjustable timing set, should I degree it or is there enough clearance where its not necessary?

you get a cam card from there cam doctor with every new cam you buy from them with the exact specs, the cam needs to be installed straigh up, dot to dot
