Default oil pressure

First off I am not sure if this is in the right place or not, but here goes. I swapped to an ls6 intake today and in the process broke my oil pressure switch. I went to orielly's and got a new one. Now the oil pressure reads higher than it did before. Any ideas on this? Did the intake cause this, or did the new switch cause this?

I broke mine off changing to a LS6 intake too. I bought one from the GM dealer and my oil pressure is the same as it was before. I did it with my cam swap and replaced the oil pump pick up tube O-ring also. I can't see any reason why the Intake would cause increased oil pressure. How much more pressure do you have than before?

at 75 the oil pressure is like 65. Is that normal? At idle it used to be like 40 and now is like 50 or 55. Should I even worry about this?

Those #'s sound good to me, that's close to what I have. I personally would not worry about it.
