Default what are the stock cam and valve spring specs????

i cant find them anywhere!! i wanted the spring rates for a 98+00 ls1 along with the lift of the cams

Here's all you need to know about stock valve springs....they suck.

Out of curiosity, why are you needing the info on the stock springs?

i was going to use them in my GTP with a small aftermarket cam, but it looks like i still need to go with the ls6 springs

From what I understand, the factory springs are just good enough to handle the stock cam and nothing else. If one has any illusion of using stock springs for anything other than a stock cam, please purge it from your mindset.
