Default valve clearence question

Should I have any problems on valve clearence with a 227/227 .564 .564 114lsa cam with a pair of heads shaved .040 with stock gaskets? What would the compression ration be also, I have heard a few different things.

You won't have any issues with that cam and those heads shaved .040" as long as your intake centerline is between 108 to 114 (advanced 6 degrees to 0 degrees) as most cams will be.
