Default do I need a retune?

When I bought my car, it had a TR220 cam in it. Other than that it was back to stock. The guy that had it had a lid, headers, exhaust and the cam. He had ECM programming by Ed Wright.

I now have the same mods, plus LS6 intake and ported and polished TB. I also have a TSP 231/237 598,595 112 LSA.

My question is, do I need to get it retuned or will the current tune work? It idles fine right about 850 RPM.

yes, but you dont need to... if you will it will run even better, but if you can live with the way it is then i'd say save the money!

Your current tune will probably get you by for the time being. But in order to get the most out of your new cam you will definately need another tune.

Thanks for the info. Since it was already programmed by Ed Wright, can I take it somewhere else to get tuned? I hear he locks them down so they cannot be re-programmed.

Call Ed Right and find out, but yeap i would retune to get the benefits of the parts you changed, otherwise why change them??
IMO get a wideband dyno tune.
