Default lifter ?

i'm gonna be changing my lifters next week and i have a question, i did a rebuild and i went with the comp r lifters, and i have them adjusted right but i cant stand the noise of them any longer. i noticed that comp has a oe lifter part #850-16, will this lifters be quiet or are they loud too do they use the stock preload, or do i need to get some factory lifters.

also i'm running the jet hot long tube headers with my ls6 heads and i used the gasket they sent with them, and i'm thinking about using the stock metal gaskets since so many people use them with headers, are they good gaskets not prone to leak

Good question on the lifters. I've been told the Comp stock replacement lifters are nice in the same ways as the stock lifters. But I haven't tried them yet, although I should have them in after this weekend.

As for the stock metal exhaust gaskets, I've been using them with headers and they work fine.

Your new Comps wont be loud at all. They'll sound just like stock. I'm getting rid of my Comp R's this weekend too. I hate them.
