Default HPE 408 installed

Just gotta say it has been great dealing with HPE and my new 408 is just sick! If anyone is considering buying one of these, hands down HPE ...they did a great job on my motor...it feels like a stock motor mod'd fbody with a 100-150shot of spray ALL THE TIME

I do have a problem though...I have nittos on the car and they are no where near enough tire for this motor

Congrats on the new motor. That's a good problem to have.

The guys at HPE are good people and know how to make serious HP.

Good luck with the traction issue. LOL.

Which heads did you use with the 408? I'm seriously looking into a 408 for my 2000 SS A4 this Summer. Their AFR heads for this shortblock look like the hot ticket as well and am just wondering if you went that route.

Nice! What cam and intake did you go with? Hpe does some great work and really good people to work with.
