Default Clearance Question

Does anybody know the Piston to Valve Clearance on an Ls1 Assuming the Pistons are .025 out of the hole. Whats the MAx Lift before you put the valve through the piston?

It is not lift that will put the valve thought the piston it is the deration an some lift. If i could run a 3in lift on a cam with a stock deration it would work because the vavle would close before the piston was ever there. It also has to do with lobes. IF it is on an XE or XER will make a dif.

What kind of cam do you want to run. I am sure we can look at the specs and say ya or na.
