stealth 2 install
well i got my cam install done the otehr day and i took my car out today for the first time, doesnt have insurance on it so i kept it on the country roads for only 5 miles or so. it runs decent i just have a few things i wanted answers on. some background........car has hooker long tubes and off road y, stock cat-back, slp lid, ported throtlle body, and hpp3(which sucks by the way). i have removed the rear 02's air and egr. when i did the cam install i put in manley nextex springs and and titanium retainers, chrome-moly push rods, ls2 chain, ngk tr55 gaped at .054. hpp3 tune. anyways i have 1 problem. in park the car idles fine at 725 in gear it idles fine at a stop, as soon as i start moving its like the car has a vacumm leak, if i'm moving and i put the car in neautral the rpm's go up tp 2.5k. no related codes. i didnt remove the intake during the cam swap. its the comp version of the cam xer lobes. let me know what ya guys think, i think its a tuning issue personally

ya but its not really hunting for idle, i drove it again and it seems as soon as i put it in reverse to back out the rpms just jump up, if i didnt push the brake harder the car would just take off. i will mess with it tommorow i guess

Your PCM will take 50>75 miles to learn proper idle.
Take the HPP3 powertune off and just adjust shifting points etc... Keep in mind that you have a little more vacuum VS stock cam now.
It will run fine on stock tune, but I would suggest dyno tuning to make it run perfect.
It took me about 150 miles to take the little bugs out.
