Question probably a stupid question about ls1 cranks

what are the stock ls1 crank and con rods made out of, and just for fun what are the pistons them selves made from?
thanks for any help.

i believe its nodular iron for the crank and hypereutectic pistons.

hmm waht about the rods? ive heard of big hp #'s going down on stock crank, rods with forged pistons and arp rod bolts.

The LS1 uses a sintered, forged, PF1159M steel connecting rod
