Will the idle quality change going from 1.7 to 1.89 rockers.. I understand that the cam duration does not change, but it will change the duration at the valve, so it might/should affect idle quality- meaning abit more aggresive?

didn't change for me. but like i said, i have a stock cam. it might be more noticeable for a larger cam than a stock cam. the agressiveness of the idle is really more determined by VE and LSA than a rocker change.

Well , i got an 062 cam from Vinici and was thinking of changing to the 1.89 rockers or going with his new Boss2- 056 cam..
Just asking.
My idle is abit more aggresive with the 1.79 rockers, but I think this is the cam or the combination of cam with rockers.
Overall it runns great!!!!!!!!!!!! I know a few people bash Vinici for the automatic car-Dyno Charts, but my torque when up 15-35 foot pounds, over all in the power curve and about 15-30 hp...
I love this cam and Vinici is always strait up with me..

you have to be able to upload it to the internet. via your own personal website or through something like cardomain. you can send it to me as well and i can upload it for you. mrrjjdh03@aol.com you can also use the manage attachments when you use the reply button instead of the quick reply box.

smask04c5,
Did you get it dynoed... I'm intrested and thinking of this Boss2 cam, but frankly I am very happy with the set-up....... But would like a bit more hp & tq....
Can you post you before & new dyno or pm me with the info..
Where did you have this done???
You said you lost some bottom end, but this cam vs your stock cam should have give you more down low.. Do you mine very low like 1.5K is were you lost some torque...I've got to think you picked up 30-50 hp and similar tq with this set-up
