Default What is the correct way to ajust RR

These are after market rocker arms with poly locks no 22ft.lbs. here.

Ok this is going to be a poll to decide what is the best way to aftermarket rocker arms. Just seeing how most people on here do it. I have done it by method 1 for who knows how long.

METHOD 1 1.Turn poly lock with set screw backed out down until drag is felt on the push rod. 2.Hold the nut with a wrench and tighten down the set screw untill it hits the rocker stud. 3. take the wrench and give the rocker a 1/8th of a turn or what ever is needed according to the lifters.

METHOD 2 1.Turn poly lock with set screw backed out down until drag is felt on the push rod. 2. Turn the nut 1/8th of a turn. 3. tighten down the middle set screw and your done.

Thanks for your time!!

Joe
