When i cam the car i want a good nitrous grind and stall to go with it. INPUT PLEASE im new to this and need to get this car running good in two months so HELP guys, Im a ford man, but purchased this thing to outrun some BOYS at there own game. HELP FAST what works the best on these cars????????

 

Cam, Stall, Bottle ... short version
With slicks on .. should net ya a mid to high 11.
Worked for me on my first setup ..

 

IIRC, you'll want a low stall to compliment the nitrous. If you want a good performing cam, and emissions arent a worry, somewhere around low 230's intake, high 230's exhaust duration...and right around .600 lift.

Any wet kit will work nice with that cam, and with the correct stall, and a good tire...you should have no problem hitting 11s all day. just make sure you get it tuned

 

230/236 114 with nitrous and a 3600 stall is my favorite RPM range stall.

 

For what is worth on this,alot of people we deal with like the ZO6 camshaft~if you can stand it.The guys at NX can set your deal up right with a recommended kit or we can.Just a thought!

 

I HAVE HAD SOME THOUGHT ABOUT YOUR QUESTION in more detail,We have had some better luck with the GM hotcam,we also would like the crane tuner!! I know the people at NX has some NEW cam grinds for nitrous applications also.The ZO6 camshaft has a higher lift than the HOTCAM,but the duration @.050 is the key in this.I hope that this helps even futher.
