Default What can I do to these heads???

My friend is selling me these heads cheap. What can I do to them?? Will I get big numbers if I throw a cam in there too??

you can do anything you want with them. stock they will lower your cr to ~9.8

how much can you safely mill them? what kind of compression is possible?

.030 will bring you back to stock .070 will bring you to 11.1, asuming a stock shortblock and gasket. a 6.0 casting aint the best for high compression unless you goo the PP route.

any suggestions. this is not my daily driver, but i do want to enjoy the ride when i do take it out. not gonna spray or anything, i want the power to be all motor.

They would be good heads for a blower setup.
