Car is doing some weird stuff. The other night I came out of the store and started the car up and when I did it started to sputter as if it was a carburated car that needed the gas pressed to keep it running. I shut the car off and started it back up and no problems. Then last night I was pulling up to a friends house and when I came to a stop the car cut off for no reason. Anyone have any idea's of whats happening or whats about to happen so I can either fix it or start saving

 

check for codes 1st off. It doesn't always set a light. You might run to autozone and get them to check for powertrain codes.

 

Ok Ill look into that other then that any other idea's my car has 40 some odd thousand miles on it and Hasnt had any regular maintanance other then the oil change every 3 grand. I was thinking mabey fuel filter perhaps Just a shot in the dark.
