Best Cam For Me? what cam would you all reccomend that i install in my 02 z/28 six speed. longtubes w/true duals. i am looking to be at least over 400rwhp with stock heads. i have found 3 that i am considering, the g5x2 g5x3 and CARTEK S3X. do any of you run either of these cams with stock heads and mildly modded motors, if so please post some numbers for me and your opinions.
398hp/364tq g5x2 112lsa through 12 bolt and 19' bling bling rims.tuned by cartek. they said the numbers would be better w/ x pipe,lighter rims, and old 10 bolt. i guess the weight was killing it.hope this helps
Also Take a good look at the F13 from Futral. Just goto the Dyno+comparrison page. Lots of info for you there.
Also, Pay attention to the Group Purchase and Sponsor page. Candy from Futel said she'll be putting a GP together soon for the F13 and then another 1 together for later in March or April. The F13 seems to be the most popular cam right now and has had really good results. Just search F13 Cam in the Dyno area and you'll get alot of hits.
