Need advice on a program/tuner for a 99 vette . Have Cold Air Intake and Borla exhaust. Does a Diablo Predator have good tunes. SCT ( Superchips)?

If your close to a sponsor here a custom dyno tune would be best.If not then a mail order tune from a sponsor would be best.

 

I have had great success with the Crane VHP tuner on my 04 A4 vett. for 400$ it is hard to beat. www.vincihighperformance.com

 

I wouldn't bother with a tune just yet. Add long tube headers and then go get yourself a full dyno tune.

I went back and re-registered with my user name I use on a bunch of other boards. I don't know why I didn't use it the first time I signed up, was in a hurry..

I'm good with 99-04 Ford Lightnings and 03/04 Cobra stuff, but the GM stuff is new to me. I got some friends in Nashville who have some fast vette's. I need to call them, thought I would ask here first.

A friend of mine wants me to help him with his 99 vette. I own a 01 Lightning. Do they flash the computer with a program? What software are the tuners using? I live in Augusta, GA.

What kind of HP /trq ratings do you get out of the LT's? Who makes the best power and I would prefer ceramic coated ones?

Which sponsors (chip/program) are most of you guys running? I know it's hard to say one in particular vendor.

I need to order something tomorrow, My friend is going to the track with some friends on Thurs. night to race a new S600 Mercedes supercharged and a 05 Mustang GT Auto.

Think he can beat them??? I can, but I have a bunch of mods and a built motor, heads, cams, Nitrous, etc. ... I'm a automobile nut, I like all makes and models, not just one brand...I'm cool with GM vehicles..

What kind of times do you think a 99 Vette with the mods I listed run in the
1/4 mile ?
