Last year a guy in some old hemi (w/ slicks) seriously asked if I wanted to run for titles in the middle of the day at 13 & Woodward w/ his kids in the car. Jack-***.
I hope there are a few Z06's out here in the late summer, if I catch one at a light I'll run his ***.
I CAN'T WAIT FOR SUMMER !
Yeah, I live in Toledo and work in Detroit sometimes. There are a lot of serious cars up there. And for the guy wanting to race with his kids in the car, what an idiot. There is NO WAY I'd put the hammer down in a semi-fast car with my kid in it.

Am looking forward to meeting ls7s, they are going to taste so good . All this talk about the new ls2. I can't wait, they should be even more arrogant then all the viper and zo6 drivers I have been torturing the last 2 years.
When I want to drive my fastest f body I dont drive my 35thss I take the 10 year old dinosaur lt1 that runs 11.01 at 131.25 on a street tire and still passes emmissions in Ontario.

I am interested in what GM will sell the LS7 crate for? A cam mod, and it should wake up nicely.

And I would like to see how they flow vs the aftermarket heads. Now with a matching intake, are we about to see a new wave of raised port, offset pushrod heads that outflow any of the current heads by 10-20%?

It should be interesting. I am currently not worried about the new Z06, but I am hoping to get a copy of those LS7 heads one day to give to FMS for some better #'s.

ha, if they were bringing this motor out in a non option'd fbody car for 30-35k, id not only be scared id be ordering one lol.... but since it will be a 75k grandpa garage queen for the most part.. as in 80% of the ppl who will own this car will a. leave it in teh garage most of the time unmodded, b. be too old to drive or understand why it needs mods. Well lets just say im not to worried... i mean its not different imo then a viper or something like that.. hell the viper has a v10 with 500hp..... it cost ruffly the same, but how many modded vipers do u run into on ur way to work each morning..
