Anybody using a Crower Cam in an LS1? I am mainly interested in the 00572

CAMSHAFT SPECIFICATIONS:
ADVERTISED DURATION
INTAKE: Duration: 272º EXHAUST: Duration: 280º
DURATION at .050" Intake: 217 Exhaust: 226
LIFT Intake:0.553 Exhaust: 0.575
LOBE SEPERATION 114º
INTAKE Opens: -2.0 ATDC Closes: 39.0 ABDC
EXHAUST Opens: 51.0 BBDC Closes: -5.0 BTDC
Seems like a mild cam with some good lift numbers.
I used a Crower Cam in a 5.0 Ford with great success, but never in an LS1. Don't hear people talk much about Crower on here.

cam It ain't a mass produced comp cam and not as cheap...LOL. I've used CROWER cams,,,Bruce Crower,Not Brian. Great cams great quality long life. I'm getting ready to pot that one in an LS 6.2 of mine. Tired of the comp cams clatter.

Crower makes good stuff in the OHC world, especially with the imports. I've used them in Nissan.
That cam doesn't look too bad.
In the GM LS world, Comp is like 90% of the market... the rest are Isky, Bullet, Cam Motion, and Lunati.

Crower is a good company but they don't put the cash into marketing that Comp does. That would be the majority of the answer as to why you don't hear a lot about them in LS stuff. Then I don't see Crower trying to sell aggressive stuff. Based on the simple advertised specs that cam looks like it would do well long term as a true driver without a lot of valvespring trouble.
