ticking noise at about 25% throttle

ticking noise at about 25% throttle hey guys got a question ive got a top end ticking noise at about 25% throttle its a used motor that hold about 10 lbs of oil pressure at idle but jumps up to about 50 or 60 lbs under acceleration what do you guys lifter, rocker, cam maybe something else any advice is appriciated thanks
Mine did the same thing was running 10-15psi at idle and ticking about 25% throttle. Ended up being a rod bearing but it sounded like it was coming from the valve train. First i would check for exhaust leaks, then tighten all sprk plugs, run some seafoam in the oil, check that all rockers are tight, Check pushrods by rolling on flat surface, pull heads check or replace lifters, If none of that helps its probly a spun rod bearing.

yes im running a stock air pump. but it really spounds like its coming from the valve train. im going to tear it down one day this week is there any way to remove the lifters without pulling the heads can you just remove the intake and the plate under the intake then pull the push tubes and remove the lifters
