having some issues every now and again..... car feels like its hesitating on and off under 2K rpm even in a low gear...... then most of the time now it seems when i push in the clutch the idle will drop to 500 or below sometimes and come up to 900 drop again, up again, and drop then finally even out back at 800-900 RPM where it should be. up til recently the car hasnt had this problem. anyone have any idea what it might be... there are new plugs and wires in the car now.

Fuel pump. Check the presure before you change it though. Replace the fuel filter.

 

the car smells like its running VERY rich on fuel. you can smell it plain as day. i forgot to mention the is a head/cam car all bolt ons except pulleys, has nitrous, true dual exhaust, 02 simms, and is still on the stock program. Maybe getting too much fuel?
