I'm hard on my car and I'm still able to get about 10K miles out of the Nittos with about 2-3 trips to the track every year. I've used Kuhmo Road Racing tires and those are a little stickier but they wear out about twice as fast as Nittos. You have to evaluate what you use your car for most. Maybe just stick with your current tires and pick up a set of ET's mounted on another set of rims for the track.

Street car only. I may go to the track just to see what it's capable of. I do like my handling on the street. Maybe I'll try the Kuhmos, how much are they for 315/35/17's? Will they stick better than 315/35/17 Nitto drag radials?

If you plan on visiting the track only once or twice like me then dont waste your money on ET's. I'm doing H/C/I because I just want a fast car on the street, I dont really care about 1/4 mile times. Kuhmos will work fine but they pick up more gravel/pebbles than the Nittos. They also cost quite a bit less but like I said, after about 5K miles, they looked like my Nittos now after 9K miles. You might also consider a set of BFG DR's in 315's. They last longer than the Kuhmos, a little shorter than the Nittos but theyre a little stickier than the Nittos according to some people, I've never used them myself. I've gone through 2 sets of Kuhmos and right now I'm on my 3rd set of Nittos with another brand new set of Nittos already waiting in the garage, personally I'm sticking with Nittos for now. They last a reasonable time and are plenty sticky for street use.

QUICKEN- How often do you see a guy racing on the street in his Viper, Lambo or some ohter exotic sportscars? Curious about this one you understand. I think you should stick with the size you got and learn how to best pull on the street, if thats what youre all about. If you need to hit a track get some **** factory wheels and mount some ET's on there, tear it up. Besides you go throwing on a set of tires that look like they come off a viper and you will not be a sleeper anymore, even with your like stock idle. I do see a lot of Mustang and Camaro/Firebird guys street racing, most likely due to the affordability of them, unlike the 80k+ cars. Have fun, hope everything works out.

From 30-40 mph rolls it's pretty often as well.

I'm gonna get a set of 275 Nitto's or BFG's and try them out and get used to them like you said, maybe it'll be fine.
