heads and cam
400rwhp is easy, 450 gets tough, 500 with just heads, cam, bolt ons and tune you can do it, but you've got to put a little more crack in the pipe.
425-430rwp =500fwhp, maybe that sounds better

As for power expectations, I'd say that with a 6 speed, 430 would be a good # to aim for. I'm aming for around 405 with a cam only full bolt on car.
Keep in mind that with this kind of power.. you're stock clutch, driveshaft and rear need to go.. or they will fail. It's not a matter of if, it's a matter of when, because they will. I'd buudget accordingly for that, so you don't get stuck. Also a real good time to add gears, it will help get alot of the low end back that you lose when going to a more powerful setup too.
All the other boltons ( ported maf ends, TB, bellow, t-stat, u.d pulley, ) should also be on to get the most out of the new setup. Don't forget about a new timing chain and ported oil pump.. but the shop you choose should tell you that anyway.
Injectors are also a possible needed item... depending on your car. Some guys can get away with the stockers.. but I personally feel that once you are over the 420 RWHP mark.. they are something that should be done. No need to go real huge, unelss you know that you will be adding more down the road. And it's always better to go a lttle bigger than not have enough... 36 lb injectors are good for most N/A applications.. but if you plan on FI or Nos later.. go with 42lb. But if heads/sam is as much as you will ever go.. the stock may be fine, or go to 30 lb just to be safe.
Headers are something that you can buy once and be good for nearly forever..( unless you outgrow the tube size ) or you can be buying them every few years. I'd rather do it once and be done with it.
