Default Lifters

I have a 2000 TA. I was at the races and my foot got caught between the cluych pettle and the brake. So I over reved it on the bottle and my rev limiter was set at 6300. I bent a push rod, then replaced it. Two weeks later my lifters were tapping, and it would bog down on me every now and then like it was onlt on 6 to 7 cylenders. And when it did my stick would shake real bad at low rpm's. IT would only do for about ten seconds. NOw it does it all the time is it my lifters or my valves or what idk. When it started doing it all the time it made this loud pinging noise like someone threw a bolt in my crank case. Anybody have any solutions.

This you check all the push rods? There might be another one bent cause a bind and the bog...My bro went through the same thing...One of his push rods looked like a spring... <img border="0" title="" alt="[Eek!]" src="gr_eek2.gif" />

shure way to check to see if valves are bent is to do a cylender leak down test.
