got the 90/90 combo ready to go on

do i need a new timing chain (what is the benefit or reason if i do)
and what about hardend push rods?
and the yank 3600e should be in soon also.

How high do you plan to spin it? If you plan on getting up into that high 6800rpm range then you should get the stronger chain and hardend pushrods. The benefit for both is they are just much stronger than stock. When you go into high rpms like that it greatly increases your chances of breaking your chain or bending a push rod. I think I read the weak stock push rods can cause valve float in the high rpms also. Don't quote me on that one though. I decided to go with both because my cam likes the high rpms too. This is my first cam so I can't say I'm experienced, but I have done a **** load of research and that is why I got them. You also might want to look into a ported LS6 oil pump. With the 02's its a toss up but I decided to get one anyway. I figured I'm in there anyway and it can only help. Better safe then sorry.

Don't forget to get a tranny cooler with your stall. Very important if you want your transmission to last.

I would just go ahead and do the timing chain and pushrods while it is apart.
