Default How many people daily drive their car with the Magic Stick 3

just want to see what people think of this cam in their daily driver. my ms3 and other related parts should be here on tuesday and want to know what to expect. the guy at TSP tells me i'm gonna love this cam and i think it will be everything i hoped for and then some. i'm also curious as to what kind of hp, tq, mph and et to expect. with just lid, catback, and ssf3500 the car went 12.93 at 104-105. thanks for any information.

Well mine is going in for the install and tune tomorrow so I will let you know. Its not a DD but I want it to be able to if it ever has to. I am kinda worried about the dead power below 3k and surging etc. Stock gears. We'll see

i'm putting 3.73's in mine at the same time i do the cam and finish the boltons, so i figure that should help me a lot with anything below 3000rpm.

Ya that and your 3500 stall. I am also concerned with the cold idle problems cam cars seem to have. I don't want my **** dying at stop lights etc or idle hunting from 500-1500 rpms. LOL

how long until you get your car back. i'd like to know how high you have to rev it. i'm hoping only to go 6500 with the limiter at 6800 but i don't know. i want to keep the motor together at least til the car is paid for in 3 years.

I hear ya there, especially after finding out the 97-99s have weaker rod bolts. I am dropping it off at G-Force tomorrow for the header/cam/fuel pump install and tune. I should probably get it back on weds or thurs. They are doing a LSX setup on a Z06 vette and I am waiting until they do that one so I can get the intake off of it. They will probably start it tuesday. I am HOPING for 400rwhp with stock TB, MAF and pulley. We'll see. Gonna tune it for 150hp dope to.
