Exclamation oil on TB

i was putting on my smooth bellow and i noticed oil on the inside of my TB, how could this happen, and where could it have come from?

PCV (positive crankcase ventilation?)...there's a rubber tube that goes from your passenger side valve cover to the throttle body (on the passenger side). The flow of air through the throttle body creates a slight vacuum so oil is being sucked/vented from the valvecover to the throttle body. This is how our cars vent positive pressure from the motor.

sounds right. some have problems with it, some don't.

All that I have ported have engine oil in them to some degree, just some worse than others even with the same overall mileage. They do not however have engine oil in them when they are finished

I have the ls6 valley cover with a catch can and still got some oil through the pcv system. Getting ready to just cap it off. Already installed breathers on both valve covers.

these cars are just bad about oil consumption....some so they never have it and yet others cant get it to quit....luck of the draw i guess
