The price difference is $139, the cost of the Ferrea exhaust valves. Come on guys, why does everyone hate the stock exhaust valve? What did it ever do to you <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" /> Seriously, we flowed a head last week, a 5.3 head, it was assembled as a Stage II and then the assembly guys realized it was supposed to be a 1.5 so they swapped the exhaust valves out and reflowed it. The exhaust flow went from 260 with the Ferrea valve to 270 with the stock valve (with a pipe of course). The GP price of the Stage II head right now is $1639 and the 1.5 is $1500. If you are using nitrous I would get the Ferrea valve for durability.
