Why ya want to stay stealthy! Yes if ya got a bigger cam with good lowend it would do great with a M6.In the 1/4 it would do good but in a 1/8 it wouldn't get going good! Unless ya got a 12 bolt and can touture the rear pretty good! Have fun!

Yes you are robbing yourself of power but if you want to be stealthy then there isn't much you can do. To get the most out of your heads you will go with a cam that will not be stealthy.

Nothing wrong with that cam with those heads. It will put down very respectable numbers. But, it's definitely not stealthy like the LS6, it has a noticeable lope to it (do a search for audio files).

You can always make more power with a bigger cam, but it wouldn't be stealthy. Also what are you willing to live with as far as driveability goes?

well, im hoping tuning will take care of the driveability aspect of it. i was under the impression that bigger cams werent made for good lowend. the longer the duration, the better power it makes up high where theres more time to fill the cylinders. down low, u get reversion which makes low end weak. so how could i go with a bigger cam and still hold a strong low to mid range power band.

wow man, this is about the third thread in two days that you have asked basically the same question in a slightly different way. Just call a custom cam grinder and get yourself a cam for those heads. Its obvious you are not happy with your cam.

Go talk to some of the board sponsors. Or just talk to MTI. I'm sure they could help you step up with regards to cam specs.

Just get a custom ground cam. Will cost about the same anyway.

i would wait until you dyno or take it to the track.it's not always the bigger cam that makes more power, but the COMBINATION of parts.you might make more power than you think.and don't just look at peak numbers.look at the average power over the rpm range.look in the dyno section, there's a guy making over 400rwhp with the same heads as yours with a TSP225,not a whole lot bigger than your cam.

man i was right under 400 with my 224 on stock heads. i didnt put stage 2 heads on to bump my power up another 5-10 rwhp. im lookin for some serious gains. i think ive kinda accepted the fact that if i want to get the maximum power out of these heads, i aint gonna be stealthy and i guess i will sacrifice some low end to feel that mid-top end pull!!!!
