Default Forged internals

What all is in involved in this, what needs to be done. Kinda dumb question but still a rookie.

Forged piston
Piston ring set
Forged Rod
Rod bolts
Forged Crank
go ahead and get all new bearings while it's being done

Then it just depends if you wanna stay stock C.i., all-bore, stroker, blah blah blah

You would need the above. Probably a 3.905 piston, deck the block and at least line hone for the pistons.

Usually for a 347, forged internals doesn't have to include a forged crank. Old school chevy and ford guys will think that is weird, but the stock crank can handle a ton of power so a forged crank is usually necessary.

completely agree on that one. Fully Forged internals does include a forged crank, but it's doubtful many of us here will ever reach the power level to need it. All I'm doing it the forged pistons/rods, and a set of nice rod bolts. That's a good enough combo to push the car into the 9's
