Both are good choices really. Do you have emissions that you have to pass? Do you have to go through a sniffer? If so then the 114 is the for sure way to go. Talk to the Thunder or who you are buying the cam from. They would have more experience than any of us on here being they do it day in and day out. There is a reason why they offer the multitude of cams that they do. They may even steer you in an entirely different direction once you tell them what you have planned.

Great sounding lope at idle with the 112, not a reason for choosing it, but a bonus. No smog testing in my state. Also, the 112 is perfect with an M6. If I had an A4 and smog testing, or even an M6 and smog testing, I would have went for the 114. The 224 112 is a GREAT street cam. Idle needs tuning though.

That's kinda what I was thinking. I just wanted some input from those who have the cams in question.

I've had both TR224/224/112 and TR224/224/114. Both are great cam's for the street.JMO.

I have a similar cam at 112LSA ready to install, but I'm going to need a torque converter first. How many of you guys have the 112LSA cam on an Auto? How high a stall did you have to do? Damn, another reason I hate having an auto. Specifically, it's 224/228 .581/.581 112 LSA. I was told that this cam would also be good for a future blower/Nitrous setup. So, what the hell does the .581 mean?

edit: I'm a newb to LS1's...also why I'm on here almost every day. This site seems to give me the most technical data as compared to all other LS1 and Corvette sites.
