F13 is in....
My first impressions......
The car pulls like a bat out of hell.
Have the shift points set for 6600RPMs which seems like a good spot for the cam, as it pulls all the way to that point. Car feels like it has a boatload more torque at lower RPMs as well.
The car got tuned & it drives pretty well (on a 114LSA). It surges a bit around 1500RPMs when coming to a stop & it seems like the car wants to drive itself *cruise affect* after coming to a dead stop. The idle is noticeably different (yet not as lopey as an old TR230 I had in a previous LS1) as well as louder, even through my Random Tech cats.
The car will be dynoed on Wednesday (cats will be removed & nitrous will be on the car). Can't wait to see the results.

Im hoping to make 400 @ the wheels, but I don't think its going to happen. Car was tuned conservatively (22*) & for nitrous on our **** 91 octane we have out here. I'll be happy w/385RWHP & up.

I can't wait to get my F13 in myself. Enjoy, and let us know some dyno numbers when you get them. Need some help! I'm having a LS6 longblock install this week in my 98 Camaro. I've been searching Ls1.com and this site trying to find the right cam. I was told the TSP 224/224/,.581"/.581", 114 LSA was the biggest I could go and still pass California smog. I keep reading about the F13 cam and was wondering who makes it. Will F13 pass smog in California? I'm sorry if this question may sound stupid and already answered, but I have to make a decision by tomorrow and I'm getting desperate!
nope will not pass...that 224 is pretty much as big as u can go...iv heard of that cam on a 112 passing too..also depends on how it is tuned and what not. i live here in cali too, **** smog man go ballz to the wall! i dont have smog for over 3 years still though
I got mine in last friday. I am having the same problems. Bucking around 1500 rpm and it dies every once in a while when i come to a stop. The tb was drilled two sizes. I have 2.73s and a 4k stall. What do you guys think?
Also the I had a mail tune from futral. And it was tuned for a 100 shot.

The guy who tuned my car, his name is Nic. Goes by Nic00Z28M6 on this board. He's pretty well-known and has tuned literally hundreds of cars & trucks. He's tuned most of the fastest/quickets LSx based cars in the state.

be sure to post the graph up when you get it.
