What kind of power are most cam only cars making? What king of power does the G5X3 make with stock heads?

My car is a 98 M6. Hooker longtubes through stock exhaust with a cutout.

 

Cam only G5X3's with LS1 heads are making 400rwhp+.
I made 407rwhp with the smaller X2.

 

I made 476 hp with AFR205cc heads .... Thats a bad *** cam bro....

Mid 240s duration(LG wont say exactly) 600/610 lift. I just bought this cam!

 

the G5X2 IS A 232/240 duration, so it bigger that that, and the x4 is bigger than it.....

 

I'm is the process of installing the G5X3 114 lsa with a set of PRC 5.3 heads. I hope this setup makes some good HP and track times.

 

The fact that it has "secret" specs is total B.S. I can't believe anyone would buy a cam knowing they can't have the specs.

 

The lift is close, but the duration is way off. I would post the specs, but they'll just delete my post. If you need to know, PM me. There nothing speacial, just a tad bigger than the X2.

seeing specs @ .050 means dick. seeing dyno/track results means something to me. i bought a x4, ill make power, ill go fast.

2c5s- did you ever think that a reason they don't announce the specs is because they dont want someone else copying their grind? LG arent the only people that have done that, i'm sorry you cant see the numbers right in front of you.

 

Thats what Im saying.... I have the G5x3 In my 346 Zo6 I wonder what It could pick up with the x4 cam.??? Heads flow around 320cfm with 2.05 valves

 

The complete list of specs on the entire lobe are posted on Comps website. These aren't magical lobes, just XE-R's.

You'll pick up as much as 2 degrees of duration will allow. Prolly 8/10 rw.

 

The point is, you can see the specs. If a another company wanted to "steal" the specs, they would buy the cam and have it spec'd. DOH!!

 

ok then why dont you go buy it and check out the exact specs since your complaining so much about it? there is no reason why you shouldnt buy a cam cuz the company wants to keep the specs hush hush. they tell you enuff info about the cam to see if its right for what you need; call them and ask them about it and they will tell you what you need to know. it's not like their just going to throw a cam out there with no info and expect it to sell. LG has the trust of a lot of customers and people should know they arent gonna eff you over cuz they keep their specs hush hush. the fact of the matter is they shouldnt have to show you, you just assume they have to.
