Default engine knocking

my engine was knocking so parked the car i checked the oil and it was a half quart low and i just changed the oil in the week before i looked at the oil pressure gauge and it was reading zero i am going to buy a oil pump do think that will fix the problem.

Half a qt low wont result in a knock , good luck.

zero oil pressure is not good my friend, i hope you arent driving the car while this is going down.

sounds like you may have bearing problems as well

also might have bad Knock sensors...the ones on my 99Z went out causing the KR to spike everytime it shifted

no i think he means an actual KNOCKING NOISE, not just the knock sensors causing knock retard

or do you mean the timing is so far retarded that its causing knocking noise?
