Now as stated by quite a few above - 1/4 mile is more about the higher RPM range.

I know exactly what you're talking about; most of what I do is autoX. But with the right gearing, most LS1 cams still do well in this area. The 4.11 gears I have work well in autoX with my big cam. Power output is also very linear for a cam of this size. You can see my dyno chart in the dyno section.
