Default mod heavy ls1's inside pls

I am going to dyno my car this summer, but i was wondering if anyone has a similar setup and what kind of rwhp you are making. Also what kind of times are you putting down at the track. I went once at the end of last season and posted a 12.79 @ 109. Seems slow and too low a mph considering my mods. oh, the 60 ft time was a bad 2.1. The ventus tires the dealer had put on it hook up like butter on hot asphalt. thx in advance. mods in sig.

definetely a poor time given your mods. Is your car tuned?

i run mid 11's at over 120 mph. my car should have a bit more power since my cam is much bigger, but not 11mph worth. there is something definetly wrong with the setup. hell, my car ran 112mph with the motor completely stock.

how many miles are on the motor?

i would do a leak down test or a compression test and make sure the motor is still strong.

The car is tuned by Pcmforless. The motor has 35,000 origonal miles on it, 1,000 miles on head/cam/computer. I know m6's trap higher, but I was hopin for at least 115. The T1 cam is apparently pretty mild, I can't even find any posts on here for it! That is the cam MTI suggested for my car. I wanted a streetable cam, but I think that cam is a bit to docile.

I agree. I went 12.50@ 114 last October in Lapeer Mi. Totally stock internals w/o underdrive pulleys and a 2.1 60'! The check engine light was on too!! Good luck.

Are you breaking traction on each upshift? If your tires are so bad that when your transmission is shifting from 1st-2nd, 2nd-3rd that you have some extra wheel spin, it can effect both your ETs and your MPH.

I would guess with your setup you should be trapping about 113 or so... but that also will depend on density altitude in your area. How's the weather there, what's the altitude of the track, track prep, etc?

Well, 1st to 2nd is pretty bad if i'm too heavy in the throttle she'll spin badly, but 2nd to 3rd is just a chirp and go. As for the questions on track altitude, i duno. All I know is that before the heads/cam/computer, i ran a 13.1 at 105. I only got 2 passes down the track since heads/cam/computer. Maybe more practice? I wouldnt t hink launching would be to hard with it, considering my last car was a cammed lt1 m6 w/4.10's, but i havent gotten a 60 ft under 2 yet...
