Default new TEA LS6 or 6.0 heads and flow?

Has anyone tried the new CNC LS6 or 6.0 heads from Total engine airflow? Second question involves flow #s. On any specific flow bench if a cylinder head flows say 25cfm more air at each lift interval how much more horsepower will the heads produce assuming they are matched with a camshaft? Since the motor is an air pump there has to be some type of equasion.

If the heads are that good, maybe more lift is needed, but most likely not more duration on the same cubes. If the intake can flow that much more then you can get 50-60 HP over their 5.3L heads.

The TEA heads are pretty dam good flow, but they are only for a Stroker 6.0L or a larger engine (422, 427, etc..)

If you could get them on a 5.7L Heads/Cam. (This is all theoretical BTW) Get a intake to flow that much and they didn't have 245cc runners, take that down to about 225-230cc then you would see a 480-500rwhp 346. But nobody has figured out how to do that.

You could still run a 224/224 cam, you just need the heads and the intake that could do that.

Md. with a set of TEA 6.0 heads that are supposed to go on an iron block 427 motor. They flow pretty good. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" /> This motor is going in a Vette. Should be nasty. <img border="0" alt="[cheers]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_cheers.gif" />

No one has them quite yet, they should be killer on the bigger engines. Based on what we have seen in other engine combo's an increase of that kind of airflow on a 5.7 engine my guess would only be 10-20 lb ft of tq and 10-20 rwhp. You get to the point of diminishing returns pretty quickly. These heads will make more power from 3000-7000 even on a 5.7, but not the kind of gains you would think. I would think you could look at the LPE numbers to get some idea, their head is approx 250cc and flows 320cfm, but I have not heard of anyone making big numbers with these heads on a 5.7.
