actually, they arnt. its a liability thing.
see, they have to pay for the gaskets and such for the warrenty peroid... they want to actually SAVE money..
but, the risk of it leaking is high enough that they say to replace them.. after all, they are cheap insurance from their point of view.
to us, if it leaks, no big deal.redo it... to them, thats a big deal, even if its only one in a couple hundered that leak, its cheaper for them to replace all the gaskets all the time.
