Nice.

Well the group buy deal without a core charge closed the deal for me. Just ordered a set of the 1.5 5.3s from Brent at TEA this afternoon. I had originally bought a set of low mileage LS6 heads that I planned to have ported. Unfortunately, I have to live with California emission testing so the TEA 5.3s should flow plenty for my application.

Anyone want to buy a like new set of LS6 heads?

'I am putting patriot 2.08/1.6 heads on my 402. I am going through the heads and checking and cleaning up small things that need fixing. I would do this with anyones heads, afr included. If you are building a performance motor you are crazy not to double check everything. I am also using their rockers and they appear to be solid and well made. I have used TD on other engines. I will post dyno #s when I finish.
I wanted to use AFRs but Tony was busy when I contacted them and I decieded to give the PP a try.

I've had the Patriot 5.3's for over a year now. I'm happy with the results. The numbers they made are in my sig.

I assume they arne't running patriots. I would also assume that not everybody can or wants to spend the same amount of money on parts for their cars as the people who are among the ten quickest.

I just bought a new set of patriot ls6 59cc 2.02 heads to go with my lunati 224/224 .560/.560 112lsa cam and my list of full bolt ons. they looked awesome, i almost didnt want to put them on. theyd make nice decorations. getting the dynotune tomorrow at wheel to wheel, so ill definetely post numbers up all over the place. like most of these people are saying, these heads are cheap in price, and im not spending 2g's for a set of AFR's. i might if they sucked a good weener, but they dont. AFR can suck my ***** for 2 grand...thats jsut my opinion. im not made over money, and i can tell already, im gonna toast ever car that wants a piece...its freaking fast. i did a lil 80-100mph 4th gear run on 696 tonight, it pulled hard, prob about 3 seconds if that. my friend has a 96 ta and i let him drive it and he said he was scared. the ls1 or ls6 H/C cars are scary compared to lt-1 cars. as long as i can put down at least 400 rwhp on W2W's mustang dyno ill be happy. oh yeah, i ran a new gto on woodward a few nights ago, frickin lit that fool up. haha. id have to say that there arent many cars that are gonna hang with me. Peace Out...
