LS2 or Forged LS6
Is it worth all the troubles, I'm hearing about, converting my LS6 over to a LS2
for the extra cubes? Or just go 382 with forged internals....opinions please
Goal 500+RWHP (NO NOS or Blowers)

I'm doing a Lingenfelter 383 stroker...callies 4340 crank, JE custom pistons, Manley billet steel rods, Comp R liters, Comp pusrods, stock rockers, Lingenfelter cam(229/242 .631"/631" 114CL), 26921 valve springs, ported TB, LS6 intake, 30# SVO injectors, and Lingenfelter ported LS6 heads. NO..EGR/CATS with a good tune, they say it should be around 480-500@ the wheels. With bigger CC heads...500hp easy!! Good luck with your decision!!

Not down playing your combo, but 480-490RWHP can be made from the stock short block, so is 5K really worth say 20 more rear wheel It seems like the 382 strokers only bring about another 20-30 horse more than the 346 to the tires. Could money be saved with just a LS2 conversion?
