Default Which heads go on which side

I just got some LQ9 heads for my iron 6.0L block but I'm curious as to which head goes on which side. One head has the number 10 and 303(?) on it, and the other head has the number 14 and 283(?). I can't remember if those are the exact numbers, but i'm positive about the 10 and 14. Does anyone know if these specify which side the head goes on? I'm sure I could figure it out, but I'd rather play it safe and see if anyone knows this off the top of their head.

It doesn't matter dude, the heads should be identical. Just for example, to rent the setup to flycut heads they only give you one head to bolt on both sides of the motor. Just make sure the temperature sensor is on the drivers side head.... Although it sounds like you may have mismatched heads with 2 different casting #'s from your description. They SHOULD read the same. I'd make sure they were the same. Here's a link to that has all the casting numbers:

You don't want one side to have a LQ9 aluminum head and the other to have a LQ4 iron head or something from 2 different years. It would work technically, but one side will perform differently than the other side.

They're the same casting numbers, 317 (01+ 6.0L LQ9 heads). I'm just referencing some numbers that are inside the valvetrain area that are different on each head. I was pretty sure there was no Left or Right orientation, just wanted to make sure though.
