IIRC, and Steve can correct me on this, its around $2500 for sleeves and machine work (not line bore or finish hone) if you are providing the block. double that for the rotating assembly and another grand for pump and coolant and finish machining.

So basically you're telling us to do it "right" it's about 6500 for a shortblock with billet caps, a good crank, rods, bearings, pistons, the water pump, coolant? That's not to shabby considdering LS2 402s are about 4K. IF that's what you are implying. Does the MID address the oiling issues associated with the pre 99 blocks that had breathing issues front to rear in the lifter valley or is that something can be cleared up. Oh hell, Howard, I'll PM you later with my snailmail and maybe you can just send me the info rather than me wasting more of your time posting it, as long as it answers all these questions I keep coming up with.
