ASA Cam and 2001 LS6 Springs I bought a set of 2001 ls6 heads. It came with the blue springs. Can these springs be used with the asa cam? I would like to save some money if I could.

If you're going to leave the 1.7 rockers, the ls6 springs should be fine since the asa only has .525 lift. I'm not sure if the blue ones are 01's or 02's, but I think they are 01's. According to GM, the 01's are good to .570 and the 02's are good to .600. I'm going to run the 02 ls6 springs with my asa cam.

Thats what I figured. The heads are off a 2001 z06 and the springs have the blue stripes. I think theyre the same springs used on the hot cam.
