Default Casting #241 heads....

Can someone tell me if these are the standard heads for a 2002 Z/28? I have seen other references that they are corvette heads. The car I purchased was from a dealer and I have no way of contacting the original owner to find out if he swapped heads or not. I would also like to know if there is anyway to tell if I have the Z/06 intake as well.

Thanks in advance...............

yes they came on 2002 cars and yes the intake is more than likely an ls6.. good chance the Block is an ls6 also.

What are the casting numbers of LS6 heads? Would there be a big difference to bolt those on, or just port and polish my #241 castings?

Thanks.............

Those 241 heads are stock for your 02 model, as well as the LS6 intake. 01 and 02 cars ALL had the LS6 intake. And as BrentB@TEA said, there's a good chance it could even be an LS6 block.

ls6 heads are casting number 243.

best bet is to pick up a set of stage 1.5 5.3 heads
