You could stick a set of nice springs on there and use stock intake/exhaust valves, and be complete with .660 lift springs for less than $1,000... less than that with 918's ![The Judge](https://ls1tech.com/forums/images/smilies/LS1Tech/gr_judge.gif)

Also my turn around time is 8 weeks or so. I have done them quicker than that but they were during slower times and also I am starting another job in two weeks so that will slow things down and I am planning accordingly.

Bo, does that $650 include machine work necessary for 2.02/1.60 valves being seated, etc, providing the valves of course? I have a set of 853's off my car sitting waiting for me to read this thread, and my buddy has a set of 241's.

Gomer, are you building another car? So it appears these are about 1/2 the price of most stage 1.5 5.3 heads. What would you think these heads will pick a car up that puts down about 395-400 rwhp currently? I already have Patriot duals on it. I'd like to stick with my 224/228 581 XER as I just ran 119.06 full weight 6 speed with a 2400 launch.
