Most people have good luck with the Prothane ones that THunder sells. I will be changeing over to them when my engine comes out next time.

potential false knock. Banging exhaust has been known to trip the knock sensors.

You might seriously consider poly mounts, I have them and they work quite well.

prothane mounts from thunder racing here as well, when the car is running the hood open, the sound is the only thing telling you its running. it sits DEAD still, and the shifter doesnt move all around anymore either.

i HIGHLY recommend them

I have a set of Spohn solid mounts to go in sometime in the next few days. So I can't tell you what they are like, but the people I've talked to say the vibes aren't so bad. LS1's are quite smooth running engines. There probably isn't alot of difference between solid and poly, except that the solid's are about 15 lbs lighter. With solid mounts, you eliminate those two big cast iron perches that the rubber mounts sit on.
