My roomates bone stock (except for a Blackwing filter) 99 A4 Vette went 13.4x at just over 104 mph. Granted we were both having some traction issues, but that should not effect mph much. I was 4 mph faster in a much heavier M6 TA with only free mods and catback difference between us.

Then we agree to disagree. How many of these comparisons do you have?? Also the traction issue does effect m.p.h. because instead of pulling out of the hole strong, and putting down the power, you spin, therefore not putting out the m.p.h. it would if it'd hook. We all have opinions.

Actually, a little tire spin tends to INCREASE mph over a dead hook. It's not uncommong to drop ET and MPH when going to a stickier tire and hooking.
(of course, some of that may also be because the stickier tires are usually run with less PSI and more rolling resistance.)

At times yes, but you also see some people dump the clutch and spin the whole 60ft., lol...
