Default Pushrod Calculator

Attached is a zipped Excel pushrod calculator that I found on LS1tech and then I modified it for easier/more accurate use. (Just unzip it and open)

Some notes:
- 7.38" stock pushrod length is used for the calculations. This is what I found after a bit of research.

- The stock lifter pre-load is about .060" (cold). This works out to be about .050" hot. (Block/head growth will increase distance from cam to rocker about .012"). If you use this calculator you will be calculating for these pre-loads, which is actually a pretty good idea as it will keep valvetrain noise/stress to a minimum, even with Comp Rs (per Tony Mamo's experience).

- Lifter length should only be calculated after the correct lifter wipe is obtained/verified (https://ls1tech.com/forums/showthrea...ht=rocker+wipe). This may mean shimming/milling the stock pedestal, which will affect pushrod necessary pushrod length.

Let me know how it works

I have an F13 ready to go in as well, just waiting to hear from the machine shop on how wrecked my block/crank is from a lifter needle bearing failure.
